Chivas forward Alan Pulido lamented the penalty miss that could have changed the course of the game against Santos Laguna, acknowledging that it was his responsibility and that he now has to take responsibility after going home with a defeat. “In the end, obviously, it's my responsibility; you have to take responsibility when these kinds of mistakes are made. Honestly, I think I had the equalizer. I didn't score, and, well, in the end, honestly, we're leaving with a defeat,” he said.
In the end, he acknowledged that they've done things well, but the victories haven't been on their side , so they'll look to get the team back on track after their second consecutive defeat on the road.
"I think we improved a lot in the second half and were close . Yes, the truth is, I think we've played some interesting matches that haven't gone our way."
